Albeena is currently working as an Associate (Legal) with Trade Sustainable Development and Services Desk, Trade Policy Division, Department of Commerce. She has over 6 years of prior work experience as a Legal Consultant with Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), Ministry of Commerce and Industry. During her tenure with DGTR, her work involved conducting investigations and handling litigations pertaining to Trade Remedial measures. She holds an LLM with specialization in Alternate Dispute Resolution from University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIPU and a BA LL.B. (Hons.) from Amity Law School, GGSIPU. During her post-graduation, she also presented multiple papers, including Surrogacy in India: Legislative and Judicial trends in Indian Society of International Law, Delhi and Mediation in Consumer Disputes at National Law University, Delhi.
