Tanushri has an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge. She is an alumnus from the University of Delhi wherein she completed her graduation in Sociology from the Lady Shri Ram College and degree in law from the Campus Law Centre. She is also a certified international mediator and business negotiator. Tanushri has worked in research, consultancy and project management roles with various organizations such as The Department of Education, Government of the United Kingdom, The Energy and Resources Institute, The United Nations, Tetra Pak, Archeological Survey of India, among others. As a lawyer she has assisted legal institutions in spearheading judicial reform across sectors. She has also traversed India’s interiors and undertaken research on diverse socio-legal issues, producing papers which have been published in journals of international repute. Interestingly, she has captained the National Basketball Team, has a master’s degree in the Indian classical dance form of Kathak and is also the Founder and Artistic Director of the Shrinkhala Centre for Arts and Development. She is the recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award; the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Delhi, international gold medals in mediation and negotiation among other laurels. Tanushri is passionate about levergaing law and policy towards sustainable development.
